8. Shopify
Our online store is hosted and supported by Shopify.
Shopify processes customer personal information in connection with the operation of our ecommerce store. Depending on the particular processing activity, Shopify may act as a service provider or processor on behalf of Dionne Rêve and may also process certain information under its own privacy responsibilities.
Shopify's current Data Processing Addendum expressly describes circumstances in which it processes merchant customer data as a processor/service provider and others in which Shopify acts as a controller/business.

Transfers may occur to service providers located in countries such as the United States, Canada, or other jurisdictions where our providers operate.
When information is transferred to a third party rather than simply processed by a service provider on our behalf, we will handle the transfer in accordance with applicable law and the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Mexican privacy law permits certain national or international transfers without separate consent when, for example, the transfer is necessary to maintain or fulfill a legal relationship between the responsible party and the data subject, or necessary under a contract entered into in the data subject's interest.
Where your consent is legally required for a transfer, we will obtain it through the appropriate mechanism.
13. Your Consent to Certain Transfers
By providing your personal information and entering into a transaction or relationship with Dionne Rêve, you acknowledge that information necessary to provide the requested services may be shared or transferred to processors, logistics providers, payment providers, professional advisers, or other parties as described in this Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable law.
For any transfer that legally requires your separate consent and does not fall within an applicable exception, Dionne Rêve will request that consent before making the transfer.
14. We Do Not Sell Personal Information for Money
Dionne Rêve does not sell your personal information in exchange for money.
We may, however, use advertising or analytics technologies that involve transmitting certain identifiers or online activity information to advertising partners such as Meta or Google.
Under some privacy laws, certain forms of advertising-related data disclosure may be legally characterized as “sharing” even where no money is exchanged.
Where applicable law provides the right to opt out of this type of processing, we will provide the appropriate privacy controls or honor valid requests submitted to us.
15. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:
-
Completing and documenting transactions
-
Providing customer service
-
Managing warranty and repair history
-
Maintaining legally required accounting and tax records
-
Preventing fraud
-
Resolving disputes
-
Establishing or defending legal claims
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on applicable legal and operational requirements.
When personal information is no longer necessary and no legal obligation requires us to retain it, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.
Mexican law requires personal information that is no longer necessary for the stated purposes to be deleted after any applicable retention or blocking period has concluded.
16. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, alteration, destruction, or misuse.
However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Mexican privacy law requires responsible parties to maintain administrative, technical, and physical security measures appropriate to the risks involved in processing personal information.
17. Your ARCO Rights
Under Mexican privacy law, you may exercise your ARCO rights regarding personal information held by Dionne Rêve:
Access — request information about the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal information.
Cancellation — request cancellation or deletion of personal information where legally applicable.
Opposition — object to certain processing of your personal information where legally applicable.
The current Mexican law expressly recognizes these rights and permits a data subject or legal representative to request their exercise at any time.

Under the current LFPDPPP, the responsible party generally has up to 20 days to communicate its determination on an ARCO request and, if the request is granted, up to 15 additional days to implement it, subject to legally permitted extensions.
19. Revoking Consent
Where processing is based on your consent, you may request to revoke that consent at any time.
To submit a revocation request, contact us at customerservice@dionnereve.com and identify the processing for which you wish to withdraw consent.
